SOG questions

Hey all, I've never done a SOG grow yet & I'm thinking about trying one on my next grow. I have a bunch of seeds I got out of dispensary weed plus some regs from a seed bank to use up. I figure why waste time vegging a long time when there could be males & hermies. Therefore, I thought maybe sprout, 2 week veg & flip to 12/12. My question is can I do this in 1 gallon pots from start to finish or do I need to Solo Cup & then up-pot before flipping to 12/12 ? What's the best way to do a SOG ? I have an empty tent right now so looking to start it in about a week.
Just have to buy soil & the right size pots. LMK. Thanks

I'll be attempting a mini SoG when my gorilla glue is done. Will be doing clones though. Hopefully a SoG master will appear but I'd think up potting may help with better root development in the short veg time. That's my thought. I'll be going from small plastic cups to 2L fabric pots.

Yeah, it's the short veg time & recovering time if I up-pot that makes me wonder if I should do 1 gal. from the start.
Just not sure of what's best.

Yeah it might not make a big difference either way. Could be a little experiment. Glad to hear it.
