Hi everyone!

Ok, what i got:

DR240 tent
*****
4X DS400 LED
*****
K-200 LS fan
*****
21 plants
- 4 master kush, from fem. seeds
- 8 swiss cheese, from regular seeds
- 9 northern lights, from regular seeds
*****

these are in the dutch pot system, which is DRIP IRRIGATION system, where all the plants have their own 2(ish) gallon pots, and a a 40-45 gallon reservoir.

DUTCH POT SYSTEM

Yesterday, i switched over to 12/12.

My goal is to make two mothers, one of the NL and one of the Swiss.

I also have a Rainforest 326, where I can keep my new clones in, some weeks before I move them over to the dutch pot system

********************

So, what I've read, I should SOG these plants.

Is it different methods of SOG'ing? Which method would be the best for my dutch pot system, if I want biggest yield possible?

Should I also FIM/top? When to start FIM'ing and how often should this be done..?

Thanx for any answers/tips..

Hey man in a normal SOG grow you dont top or trim plants. The idea is to grow just the single dank cola on a stick. Small but deep pots are the best way to do this and placed close together to minimise side branching. I running a SOG atm if u wanna drop into my journal for a look. :peace:

Okay.

Im using the 2 m² Dutch Pot System.

Dutch Pot Hydro : the missing link: the Dutch Pot combines the unique performances of the AeroFlo with the simplicity of the WaterFarm.

1) If I dont top or trim the plants, would it not be a hell of a forest in my tent? Meaning the lights would not penetrate so good through the leaves? I am using LED's.

2) My tent is 2 metres high (about 7 feet, Im using a DarkRoom240)
If I dont top the plants, wouldnt the plants grow through my tent??

I gonna check out ur journal now.. :)

Sounds like some good strains to work with! Props for those choices! As far as you plants busting thru the top of your tent, No sir. they should never grow thru your tent, lol. if your doing a true SOG style grow. Its just like tony said, they are small single cola plants maybe 18" to 24" tall at the MAX when finished. you put them into flowering right after you clone them. literally 2 weeks after cutting them off the mother plant. They really dont have time to get real bushy like you think. Plus you are can defoliate them later anyways and that lets the light in if your having this problem. really you shouldnt have to worry though, the plants are small and lights get thru pretty well anyways.:thumb:
