I cut off a calyx from the very middle of the plant, the sugar leaf has some, but not much amber on the bud itself. I'll give it another week I think. The fresh fluffy light colored pistils tell me that plant has several weeks to go still. Where do you see amber - is that on the fan leaves or the calyxes?
When the large majority of the pistils have turned dark and crinkled up then she is getting closer to the harvest window. At that point it’s time to scope the trichs. Snip a small section of top calyx and lay it on the table for better scoping.
sure looks good tho.... btw’s welcome aboard!
You are a long ways from harvesting, I would say more like 3-4 weeks, minimum.I cut off a calyx from the very middle of the plant, the sugar leaf has some, but not much amber on the bud itself. I'll give it another week I think.
What is the date you switched the lights to a 12 hour on & 12 hour off schedule? Helps count the weeks and start to get a handle on when they should be ripe enough to harvest.I have a gorilla glue auto nearly ready, there's about 5% Amber trichomes. But I still have many many white pistils on the buds, am I over watering at this point?
Is it just the genetics of this strain?
Thanks in advance.
Plant is exactly 90days old today. Autoflower, 16/8 light cycle. What is the date you switched the lights to a 12 hour on & 12 hour off schedule? Helps count the weeks and start to get a handle on when they should be ripe enough to harvest.
Ah, yes. I remember reading that it was an autoflower and then forgetting that. Since they start to go into flower on their own schedule do you remember when they started to show pistils? Does not mean that the plant is ready to harvest on some exact date but it does help give an idea of approx when.Plant is exactly 90days old today. Autoflower, 16/8 light cycle.
