COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Oregon snowboarder Tara Zwink is under suspension
from competition for two years after testing positive for marijuana.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Tuesday that the 30-year-old snowboarder
from Government Camp tested positive Jan. 11 at the U.S. Snowboard Grand
Prix in Breckenridge, Colo.
The test disqualifies Zwink from her seventh-place finish in the halfpipe at
the event, the agency said. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association will
carry out the sanction.
Zwink finished seventh in the halfpipe in World Cup competition last year in
Sapporo, Japan.
