Snoop Dogg encountered a little speed bump while trying to celebrate what is probably his favorite day of the year: 4/20.
If you don't know, 4/20 has become a day for lovers of marijuana -- you know, the grass, the weed, the Mary J, the crazy stick, the Maui wowie, the herb, the wacky tobacky, the ... .
Anyway, Snoop Dogg -- or Snoop Lion, as he's calling himself these days -- held his annual Snoop Lion 420 Festival on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, where he hosted "celebrity friends and members of the general public for a joyous marijuana celebration," according to the party's description.
But someone somehow forgot when they were advertising this little wingding, that marijuana is still illegal.
So, according to E! News, the coppers got to the undisclosed location first and shut things down, just as Snoop was arriving. A police source told E! "there were too many people, fire access issues, parking issues and noise problems. There was also a van transporting people to a parking lot which had no permit."
The person added "it was handled very peacefully" and that Snoop was "very cooperative." No arrests were made.
Well, yeah. How else would potheads deal with the situation? Throw Doritos at the police?
Snoop reportedly just took a smaller version of the party elsewhere.
