Hey guys and gals and welcome to my grow log!!

So this will be my first time growing autoflowers and second time ever growing Cannabis in general! (about 3 years ago i dabbled with some bag seed photo periods in a cheap tent with clf's and then flowered off with hps but ran into a major problem about 6 weeks into flowering and had to unfortunately end my grow pre mature

Nonetheless we are back again and this time im set on doing things right from jump street! i ordered some beans from TrueNorthSeedBank (dont know if this is allowed so sorry if not) we ended up choosing a couple strong sativa strains (Ak-47 x Critical Mass) and a few heavy hitting indicas (Trans Siberian) we are growing in a 4x4x8 grow tent, its sporting a 6in carbon filter from vivosun, 440cfm duct fan, 6in hurricane clip on fan, honeywell tower ossicilating fan, humidifier, 4x 5 Gallon smart pots, medium is mother earth coco + perlite, nutrients will be the GH flora trio line with the added veg and bloom nutes, cal mag, root booster ect (will post pics) and last but certainly not least the lighting! the ladies are being shined on by the CrecerLighting Panthrx Mini!

START

So Tuesday of this week i got the tent all set up, got the 5 gal pots filled up with my coco/ perl ( company claims its already been buffered and ph'd but i dont trust labels lol so i went ahead and buffered it with some cal mag and ph'd water to 5.8, I started germination in ph'd tap water shot glasses that were labeled with each strain relative to said bean in glass. Originally i was going to choose to grow out 2 trans siberians and 1 ak47 and then the freebie Cheese strain i got from my order but the cheese never popped and luckily i germed an extra trans so i had 4/5 beans actually crack and show tap roots.
Wednesday the seeds went into moist paper towls till they had taps of atleast a half inch long ( only took about 6 hours) then i proceeded to plant the babies into thier final homes.
Thursday we had lift off on the little girls 1 was way faster then the other 3 and is def the happiest and healthiest looking plant of the bunch (rest didnt wanna pop off the shells and or the cotyledon's were stuck and didnt want to open
Today is officially day #2 and the one happy healty girl doubled in size in the last 24 hours and the Ak-47 is trying to pop open and look normal finally lol.

I'll be posting almost daily updates on this log being im super excited and love learning, talking, growing and just anything cannabis related, im a Combat Army Veteran and ill be growing these ladies as meds instead of the pharma crap the VA wants to shove down our throats... I'll be adding pics from my phone in a few mins cause i dont feel like emailing them to myself lol.

Hey welcome to the log my man! Yeah I'll be updating daily bro so we can compare for sure, is yours crossed with critical also?

Only problem I'm having so far is 2 of the 4 are behind and the false leaves are like glued together and don't wanna open up it's weird but I have 1 super fast and healthy lady going strong since day one. on another note I'm pretty sure temps and rh is decent my lows are 76 and highs 84 to the canopy. Rh is high 65% and low 58%

Great to have you on board brother man! So far my ladies have just had light waterings every day like 6 ounces each from a gallon of distilled water with 2ml calmag and half ml of root boost and they are taking off! Can't wait to start feeding them some real food. Only problem is water is gunna get expensive quick lol, unfortunately I'm on well water and the tap is 8.9 pH and like 600ppm.. distilled or RO it is unfortunately.

I use to use the Full Line up of GH products & always had decent results. I just switched to advanced nutrients so we'll see if it's really worth the price.
Your Temps are OK & your RH is real good. 84 F is as high as you want it to get though or you'll start getting airy buds that don't weigh shit .... but they're big as all hell .... LOL. "Been there / Done that". Not sure where you're growing but if you're near your AC vent in the house you might want to put a wye fitting in & duct 1/2 the air into your tent. That's how I have my tent cooled & it stays at what ever my T-Stat is on (77 - 79 F). No added electric cost this way. There's pics of it in my journal.
Did you say you were growing in Coco ? If so .... remember they are Cal Mag Hogs & use a lot of it. Almost impossible to give too much Cal Mag. I am using 12 ml. per gallon of Sensi Cal Mag Plus.

No, I have a regular fem Auto AK 47 & an AK 47 crossed with Six Shooter. I have a N.L. crossed with Critical 2.0

Yeah I'm growing in coco so I know they like the cal/mag but was told just plain pH water the first 7 days but I wanted a little "jump start" so I alternate a little calmag and root booster between regular water.

My tent is actually air cooled from the window AC unit and ducted into the bottom of the tent pushing the natural hot air up and out but since it's In a area never used I've been experimenting with the AC settings trying to use as little of power as possible and it went up to 84 at the canopy with me turning the AC condenser off, I quickly got it back to 79-81 and yeah the rh seems good but I want a new humidifier cause the one I have only raises it by 10 at the strongest setting :/

I was told you are suppose to pre-charge Coco; but nobody explained exactly what that meant. So I figured it was give it a jump start with nutes. I know in soil you only give water the 1st week or 2 but soil has stuff in it that the plant can live off of & Coco doesn't so not feeding from the start doesn't make sense to me. But the feed has to be diluted to only 1/4 strength for seeds & seedlings. It's my 1st Coco grow too so I may be doing everything wrong; but it's working so far & nobody has said I shouldn't do this or that in my journal so I can only assume I'm on the right track.
Sure be glad to get this 1st Coco grow done so I can quit feeling like a Newbie again & know how things work. Right now I feel like I'm on "That 70's Show" & Red Foreman is saying "You Dumb Ass" ..... "That Kid's on Dope" .... LOL.

Well I've been getting loads of help off my Instagram from a guy who actually won the autoflower cannabis cup last year! He said pre charging coco is done by adding in calmag and ph'd water till your run off is under 6.3 and that's what I did.
Also check out fromseedtostoned on YouTube he uses coco and only waters pH water the first 6 days and his plants as explosive.. I think I'll have second set of true leaves in by day 5! Do you have any pics from 3 days above soil I can compare to mine?

Lmao that 70s show was the best I used to watch tht shit every day now out where I live go no satellite rite now growing bud is to important rite now lol. Sounds bad but it's for family and myself do to medical reasons I literally cant stop unless I wana quit giving my family the help with meds that they need and no way satellite or internet comes over that. I was thinkn about moving the girls up into the camper for the day the dude would show up to setup/install everything till he left then bring them back dwn. I could put some of my pepper an tomater plants in the tent an close up the other n jus say it's my all organic veggies an I'm super paranoid about what gets into my food so I grow It in doors lmao . Other then that idk how else I could explain 2 gaint 5x5 and 1 3x4 grow tents in my house Haha. But yea for now I jus download shit on to my phone or tablet from Netflix or Prime then I mirror cast it to my flatscreen so it's not to bad lol. An then I can still grow my bud with no worries well sorta lol.

But yea u both are correct I've seen it done both ways an both have had great results. It's all down to what works best for you member there is more then one way to skin this kitty lmao. Of course there is a general set of rules to follow an if u stay close to tht margin atleast from the past few years I've been grown n from what I've seen they seem to be able 2 take a beating am still turnout to be some beasts. Shit some strains actually produce more if u give alil stress every now an then lol jus dnt do to much to early an things shud be all good.

Yea buddy they should do great an I wudnt worry to much bout the feeding this early since in the shell they carry the vitamins and nutrients they need to get them to about a week to 10 days at the max but that was soil so I'd do atleast cal-mag like ur doing. But yea as seedlings they carry enough in them to get them old enough to handle nutes an not die we jus gotta time it right then next thing u no bam u got pot hahaha.

Thanks man yeah ive been reading tons and looking at grow logs to compare for weeks on end lol. I'll start week 1 nutes at 6 days above soil at a 1/4 strength maybe a lil less till day 7 or 8. I'm going to be topping 2 of them and lst'ing the other 2 to see what works best for me.

On another note I'll be putting like 7 more beans that already popped into styrofoam cups a little bigger then solo cups. Some are autos and some photos.

There's pics (lots of pics) in my journal. I posted new pics every 3 - 4 days so there is something there around day 3. My days are counted from the day I planted the seed .... not when they broke ground. They all were above ground between the 4th & the 6th I believe. So if you look at about day 7 - 9 they should be about 3 days old (above ground).
