-Tap water is being used,
I think that's all but there is something i always forget.
Off to the races we go then.
I gave tent, fans and light a good wipe down with H202,
Same with intake and exhaust, plus ducting aswell,
If it comes apart then it gets stripped, cleaned and put back together.
We will be using:
1x Marshmellow Og (MO)
2x High society, (HS1 + HS2)
Started seeds in there own coffee cup with a little over half a cup of plain tap water with 1 squirt of H202 in each, covered with kithen roll and left 24H at around 22c.
After a 24H soak and a little tap of my finger to make them sink i made a mixture of 1L Water and 2ml CalMag,PH to 5.8 ,
Then dropped 3 Coco discs into the mixture,
They expand in a minute or so,
I then create a small hole with a pencil about 2cm deep and pop a seed in each disc,
Cover over slightly and done,
These are then placed into my propagation box and the remainder mixture is poured in aswell,
Cover with lid and place on heat mat at 23c-24c,Just a waiting game now.
2 days later and they all nearly have shot up except HS1,
I popped another HS just incase HS1 doesn't make it.
1 more day later and we are looking ok(2 and a half days from putting seeds in discs to now.
They are in there tent now and on heat mat set to 23c-24c,
There is a small humidifier inside aswell.
Light is on 1click from off and around 40inches from the top of the tallest seedling.
Temps:
Day: 25c and 83% Humidity,
Night: 21c and 80% Humidity.
*This will be Day1*
Here they are:
Day2:
Here you can see the reserve HS.
I think something is going on with HS1,Her roots seem to be growing from high up on her stem.
Lets see what happens hey.
Time to mix some medium and fill the fabric pots,
First i get my 75L block of Coco and chop just over half(about 40L worth) ,this is placed into the center of a empty large plastic tub ,
I then boil around 20L of water and pour the lot into the corner of the plastic tub,it should look like a small island surrounded by water,
It will take several minutes to soak up all the water and only half of it will be damp,
I grab what is left of the dry block and place into another large tub and repeat the process,
I give them both a good sieve, mix with a hand garden fork and end up having 2 large tubs full of Coco,
I place a fan heater over both tubs to take away some of the water.
Secondly i grab a bag of perlite and my sieve,
I boil about 10L of water and put in a bucket,
The sieve is used like a shovel to get it full of perlite,
This is moved around in sieve to get small pieces and dust off,
Then it's plunged into hot water bucket a few times then shaken vigorously to get the excess water off,
That is then placed into a large plastic tub,
I repeat this process for the whole bag of perlite and end up with a tub of clean perlite,
This gets sprayed with H202.
Thirdly i get fabric pots and fill,
I first add a thin layer of just perlite at the very bottom of a pot,
Then i get 1 of the tubs of Coco and just put 8 handfulls of perlite on the top middle and mix with fingers spread apart for a few seconds,
This is transferred into the pot with the thin layer of perlite,
I repeat this process of building layer on layer until the pot is full,
I then do it all again another 2 more times,
We now have 3 pots ready for the seedlings,
These are places into the tent to dry out some more.
Temps:
Day: 25c and 84% Humidity
Night: 20c and 79% Humidity.
Here they are:
Day3:
HS(R) is starting to pop through the surface,
I have slightly covered more of the stem on HS1,she is throwing out roots from high up her stem, glad i popped another just incase,
Still no drink for them yet.
Temps:
Day: 24c and 84% Humidity
Night: 20c and 81% Humidity.
Here they are:
Day4:
Decided to transfer MO and HS2 into there final pots,
I just made a small hole in the center of the pots and place the seedlings inside, cover with the Coco i scooped out to make the hole,
HS(R) is saying hello, just not opened up fully yet,
Not sure whats going on with HS1,
Feed:
MO + HS2:
1L Water
2ml CalMag
0.5ml Each grow A+B
0.5ml Voodoo Juice
0.5ml B52
PH5.8
They got 0.5L each in a circular motion just past the longest leaf,
HS1 + HS(R) :
1L water
1ml CalMag
0.4ml Voodoo Juice
PH5.8
They got 0.3L poured into propagation box,Just enough to soak the bottom of the discs,
The lid is off and staying off the propagation box.
Temps:
Day: 25c and 79% Humidity,
Night: 21c and 76% Humidity.
Here they are:
Day5:
I moved HS(R) into her final pot now,
She has opened up properly aswell,
I finished off the top of all 3 pots and there is only the water rings to put in place when they are a little older,
Still not sure whats up with HS1,
Meaco fan is set to speed2 and fully rotating.
Feed:
No Feed for all.
Temps:
Day: 24c and 80% Humidity,
Night: 22c and 77% Humidity.
