I had a lot of trouble slow drying in my environment. 2 and a half days sometimes 3 days and stems would snap. The outside would be very crispy.
I recently tried a new way of drying. I use paper bags. I wrap branches of bud one or two usually one within a brown paper bag.
It has extended my drying to about 8-10 days. Buds not only smell amazing but they taste way better.
I use ties to ensure there is minimal airflow in the paper bag. No mold issues and it this is my new method of drying from now on.
I also dry trim to help with slowing the dry.
