Skirting

ok.. im at 36 days 12/12 from germination, and i was wondering when would be the best time to skirt my lovely lady??thanks in advance..

a friend told me that skirting is when you cut the 2 lowest set of branches...? i had no idea of it either so i decieded to ask some of the professionals...(420magazine)

So it doesn't side branch on you. I would have done it already, because you should have buds there by now I would think.

It's a matter of preference i guess. I don't want side buds at all. I want that energy spent up on the top cola, the only cola.

oh, ok. Yea i got a few bud sites along the sides... i think about 4 or 6.. not exactly sure.. i'll see if i can get some picks... so boss, in other words it WOULD increase yield or no??

If you scrog it now that you have side buds, it would probably be best, but either way it will be fine. This will give you an idea.-

He didn't use a large heavy mesh, just enough to get the side buds over the leaves.

Now look at this one:

No sides on that one. Well, fewer, and they stay flush to the plant pretty much.

..... damn that looks good... i tried to get the side bud sites above the larger leaves and they seem to be getting lengthy, reaching for the lights i guess, and getting a darker green to them..
