Sick Plant - Stem Death - Rapid Decay - Help!

DO NOT underestimate the damage spider mites can do. Every case is different; on some plants they won't cause too much problem. On other plants they will destroy. Read this from another site:

" Description:These are yellow-brown colored mites with two dark spots on both sides. They...will ruin your harvest completely when you don't take countermeasures in time. A nightmare for all growers. In a later stage the leaves will become grey-yellow because all the green has been eaten by the spidermites. Also they will produce a silky spinning which can be noticed on the leaves, and later around the buds. In this stage your harvest will almost be ruined."

On top of the mites you might have other organisms. You should do a major clean-up. Cut off any affected area, transplant into new soil. Get bug killer juice and hope for the best.

Yeah, spider mites can be a pain, and you're bummed if they are on your buds, but they are, from my understanding a leaf lover, and don't do the kind of trunk damage I'm seeing here. I do believe I'll end up doing a root inspection and flush just bare roots.

I just use plain ol tap but a few members get creative with flushing. Here's KJC's recipe.

If you want to read all the surrounding posts of his flush here's the link.

Ah yes clearex for finishing, but that just feeds the organisms, right? Sugar for the yeasties?

Ahh...surfBuddy...do you have another seed? Might be easier! :thumb:
OMM! Nice to hear from ya :) Hope all is well with you my friend.

lol. yeah, it might be, tho my seed supply right now is low :-/ I've got a few waiting to pop but they may be too old at this point. What's weird is that her sister (clone from same mama, same time) right next to her does not show these symptoms...
