Show off your Deep Water Culture Grow

Whenever I get my grow tent I think I'm gonna make me a few of those , lots of room and you can move them around to get the best light too...Are the lids real tight or are they lose enough to not have to rip things apart to take a lid off ? Damn dude you just started flowering those babies are gonna get BIG !! :peace:

I suggest or recommend that you ask many growers that use a tent, about the pros and cons, before you buy one. I used to se at least one new thread a week saying I TOSSED THE TENT.

They say it is like growing in a closed closet, with the door closed and they were not prepared for the heat.

Hmmm, I think you may have something there Roseman, it might be easier and cheaper to just get rid of furniture in my guest bedroom. Thats where my young son stays when he comes up to work, I guess I'll leave him the bed at least. Just hope he doesn't decide to snag a few buds for him and his buds. That room is 10x12 enough room for a small forest! Have to do a little framing etc, but I do have the time ..:peace:

well finally i got my new camera going heres sum bud porn ..there about 6 1/2 weeks into flower, they are looking beautiful an literally growing out of the room...:cheertwo::cheertwo:

Hi guys here is an update of how things are going with my grow.
Things are proceeding along fairly nicely. Up to about a gallon of water a day now ph holding steady around 5.7 or so. ppm is up to about 900. I have been adding 15ml grow 10ml hard water micro and 5 ml bloom (all GH flora series) with each gallon I replace. Misting daily with plain ph'd water. Humidity has been around 60 percent since I realized that was a problem a couple of weeks ago. I don't think the girls could really look any better. Maybe they could be a bit taller but I am better off with bushy plants due to my lack of height.

I am about a week since my res change but since I had problems with the ph after the last res change and things are looking so good right now I am trying to hold off until I go to transitional nutes. Today is 31 days since I put the seeds in the system after soaking them for 24 hours. I am back and forth on when to put them into flower. I see a lot of people going to flower earlier than this and with my lack of room I think maybe that is the way to go but I keep remember Roseman talking about flowering too early potentially costing about 25 to 30 percent of max yield. Makes it tough to pull the trigger. Either way it wont be long now.

I really welcome all comments on these decisions

Here are today's pics

I really feel a big part of the decision to flower is the size of your space. I've got 6 plants in a 30" x 48" x 90" space, I let them flower for 5 weeks and now they are very crowded. They are now approx. 54" tall. I'm sure I'm not going to get many of the lower buds. I won't do this many in this space again. But I do have to admit, they do look pretty cool crammed into that little space of mine.
