Should I transplant these into larger pots?

Hello everyone, I have two plants that look like they may be ready for larger pots but I'm not sure? I only have 5 gallon buckets, is that okay or should I buy 3 gallon buckets? Also should this be done immediately or do I have time to wait

When the plants can drain all the water you can give them in a day or so, it is time to uppot, but until that happens you can wait.

OK I'm definitely going to read your notes and journals again. When they do drain the water in about a day should I go up to 3 or 5gal
