Should i just cut my losses?

ok, as many of you may know by now iv bin having some problems with germination of my first seeds which are bag seed

then after 8 long days 2 of them finally cracked i was chuffed

that was sunday, and since then they have not changed a single bit

theyre still exactly just as cracked open as before, no tap root nothing!

the only thing different about these 2 seeds to the rest is that small white stripe i can see where the seed has cracked open but theyve bin like that since sunday night!

should i just cut my losses and buy some proper seeds??? they just wont show a tap root, any of them!

GOOD NEWS!!!

after an agonizing 12 day wait and a lot of seeds one seed has finally starting to grow a tap root! every few hours its that little bit longer and soon it will be big enough to transplant into soil FINALLY!!!

EVEN BETTER NEWS 420 GUYS!!! the second seed is starting to show a root and 2 more have cracked, it may take for ever but they are growing
