i have a 1000 watt hps setup and wanted it to cover more plants my current reflector only covers about 4 mid sized plants and i found a reflector that would cover about 10 plants but will the lumens still be good for all the plants or should i just get another light the reflector i am looking into is called raptor and is made by hydrofarm it is 30x 41 inches big is this a good reflector? thanx

The more square foot you cover with one bulb, the less lumens per square foot. kind of....
You should get almost the same lumens nearby the lamp as before. What the different reflector is doing is spreading the reflected light out more. So what happens is the edges get pushed out farther and get less lumens.
I would keep the reflector you have and try to find a way to bring more buds into the grow zone of the bulb. I can grow four plants in a 2x3 foot area with 500 watts. I would think with 1000 watts I could grow eight plants in 4x3 area.
