Does anyone know why my sativa plant only grew about 12". Her flowers have purple hairs and she smells strong . I dont understand why she isn't growing

Do you mean the flowering stretch was only 12-inches or the whole plant is only 12-inches high. Is it an autoflower?

I have no idea. Does that matter? I have them all growing outside. Im trying to upload some pictures . The entire plant is 12? Smells very skunky

Its not an autoflower. It was with some seeds my cousin sent me from Colorado.. All of the other plants are bushy budding and are all 6 foot tall

Charlie. I have no idea how to navigate this site. Where do I upload pictures so I can post them so you can see it. Im so curious about this plant and the leaves are not dark they are more like lime green. Its so short and has about 6 branches and each one has just a few buds. The buds are beautiful purple hairs and loaded with trichomes. I've gotta figure out how to post pictures. Thanks for your kindness and knowledge
Yes planted from a seed. Actually all I did was poke a hole in the dirt and put the seed in it.. I planted 10 and have 7 left.. 3 were males. And the scent is skunky but a nice scent. I've researched and cant find anything that looks like it

Might just be a runt or a random seed from a genetic variety of plant that is only meant to grow 12-inches tall. Maybe he mixed a seed in to the rest that is only meant to grow 12-inches tall? There are varieties of cannabis meant for short height. Or, could be it did not get enough light, water, nutrients, as the rest of the crop and is only a "small-fry".

I'm new here myself. But I guess you attach the image from your phone or computer using the "Attach Files" button at the bottom of the dialog box here. If you look just below the dialog box you are typing in, see the "attach files" button, Click it, find the image on your phone or computer and hit the "save" or "upload" button. Wait a min or two for the image to upload and you should see the image attached to your post. I guess...as I say, I am a beginner here.

I planted on April 20th. I figured it was a good date. We had a mild winter. I live in Southern New Jersey
