Service Interruption

Today we have been advised about an electrical problem with the UPS system powering our host network.

Please be advised of the following emergency maintenance window:
-- Friday, October 22nd 2010, between 11:30PM and 2:30AM Eastern Time.

We are required to perform an electrical maintenance on this UPS system that will cause a 30-45 minute interruption of electricity. Unfortunately there was nothing we could have done to foresee or prevent this problem.

Please be advised of the following maintenance window:
-- Sunday October 31st 2010 between 11:30PM and 2:30AM Eastern Time.

During this time frame there will be two separate 60-120 seconds of interruption of network service. Additionally, you might experience an increase in latency of about 60-90ms during that time.

This maintenance is to upgrade the operating system version of our routers. We will also be integrating new equipment to increase our total capacity.
