Seedsman Comparison Grow: CPK & Dr. Seedsman

Everyone’s gardens are looking top notch!
Not sure if anyone has quadlined the cpk yet
You bet!

Week Eight update

Just a quickie this week.
CPK on the left @12”.
In a few days they’ll be under 400w HPS and feeling a whole lot better about themselves.
I was just planning over making my jars last from one harvest to the next and realised to my horror that - of course - the CBD is going to take up tent space.
One one hand hoof it is highly medicinal and makes it less likely I’ll be reaching for the high fire jar.
On the other appendage - you’ve furnished us with some gear to balance that, @SeedsMan. Donkey I am I only just noticed, and want to thank you and the peeps that put this plan together.
:meatballs:

I may be a few days off my weekly report but I wanted to wait till I got the girls moved from the 450w viparspectra led in the mother tent to the 2x315cmh in the 4x4 with some additional air flow Ive added for this grow to better manage lights on temps and strengthening plants ability to support themselves.

Hey Chris, can you tell if a bud is pollinated by looking at it? What do you look for?
I'll show you

Thanks for sharing that. I am interested in breeding so this is of interest to me.

I’m using one of Chris’ pics here,

You can see the swollen area the orange pistil is coming from. It will look like that until the seed has matured, then the pod will split open a bit and show the seed.

This is just a google image, but you can see after it’s matured.

Thank you very much for taking the time to present such an awesome tutorial! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you! I didn't know any of this. I think it will take some practice to be able to spot pollination as early as Chris can but I guess it's something we'll all learn eventually, unfortunately.

I guess I shall do my weekly update. Seems like I might need to look for some sort of heat to get my temps up in my tent. After a pretty mildish winter in Southern Ontario we have been getting a few much colder night/day temps. Being in my basement it seems like the temps just won’t stay at a steady warmth and seems to be keeping my seedlings from normal growth. Well at least in comparison to my past tent starts at this stage of the game. They all seem to be almost a full week behind and am now considering placing a mini heater in there or placing some styrofoam foam along the outside of the tent to insulate things hopefully. So as of Day 16 here is where I stand on my CPK and the White Widow freebie that came with it
