I've got to go away for 6 days so I won't be able to water my seedlings for that period of time. I'm going to top dress the bag pots with pine chip mulch to slow down water evaporation.
The day temps will be 22 C and 13 C at night.
I was wondering if I should add half a cm of water to the bottom of the container holding the bag pots as the bag pots have small drainage holes in the bottom which could absorb water keeping the soil moist longer?
