Seedling Hairs?

I need help! I am in the process of getting my seeds to pop using the paper towel method storing them in plastic storage bags.

Well, I failed to secure my medium and I checked the seeds and the roots have fuzz or hairs on them. Is that normal, because I don't think so. Please let me know if I should have planted them sooner. I placed them in the paper towel 4days ago. Thanks for the help.

Hey voltron,

Yup thats 100% normal and is a good sign of their health. The root shoots off those hairs to help hold them in place in increase their surface area to help take in water an nutrients.

LMAO. I was ready to throw them out! Thanks ItsChrome you saved me on that one. Hopefully they will be o.k. until tomorrow midday. I would like to place them in the pots/buckets with hydroton get them ready for growth. Thanks again. :tokin:
