Seed Banks With Cash Payment

Can someone give me the names of seed suppliers that accept cash payments?

The place I usual bought has changed recently and I thought to look at other suppliers. A safe or dubious for cash opinions are welcome as well.

Thanks for any suggestions*

true north takes e transfers. if you mean you'd like to send actually cash in the mail, i don't know if that's legal or smart.

Thanks for the info guys. Don't do e tranfers or credit cards or bank transfers and that pretty much leaves cash for an option..

Any others who can post their suggestions are welcome...and thanks*

the ones I named above are our sponsor too

Glad to hear that they are sponsors.

I saw the introduction post for New420Guy and gotta say that New420Guy has some very nice prices for some quality strains. Looking very good as a source.

Haven't been to Seedsman and Dutch Seeds for a while, but will look at them later

Just recently got an order from Seedsman using a money order. Safer then cash just encase imo. Worked well with no issues.

Thanks for the info. Nice to know they will accept money orders and not cash. Will keep that in mind when I can afford to order again*.

Seedsman? From their FAQ page: ""Our accepted methods of payments are: Bank Transfer, Bitcoin, Cash and Credit & Debit Cards.""

Thanks Felix...right now the prices from new420guy are too attractive to resist. I've looked at Seddsman before and they have quite a large selection and recall they do their own seed breeding to which is a positive to me..

I viewed the new site you refer to and found the categories a bit of a dog's breakfast.
  • Hybrids
  • Indica Hybrid
  • Pure Indica
  • Sativa Hybrids
So what's "Hybrids:" neither Sativa nor Indica hybrid? Both? Are the Indica hybrids supposed to be hybrids of only Indica? Well, they aren't, there is Haze and lots of other Sativa DNA in there. The Sativa hybrids are not all Sativa.

When I got half-way down the page, javascript dropped a curtain over the top half of the page.

The fellow may be a great breeder, but it's too tangled for me to spend time there.

Didn't mean to praise them as great breeders or the best. No knowledge if their offerings are high quality or not, but figured they ought to be ok enough for me...price being a high priority for me.

Maybe their seeds are not top notch and probably Seedsman is better, but $9 for 3 seeds fits my budget much better than for one seed right now.

Appreciate the review though.

Oh, I'm not down on the 420 product. I am dissatisfied with something like half of the seed websites I see. Being a good breeder is wasted if the person making the website is up to snuff. In fairness to seedsman, they do have quite the website, sort of a standard to compare to, IMO. A lot of web designers want o be fancy and techie, which is a waste. Others don't even have a Payment/Shipping/FAQ page, which causes me to immediately surf elsewhere.

Oregon Green Seeds does cash payments. I've grown 3 of their strains, all top notch & consistent with their online descriptions. They've got some interesting hybrids...most are fast finishers (6-9 wks) bred for PNW outdoor growing. Here's one prior to chop:
& another strain in bud form:

They take money orders, too. But I've always just mailed cash to 'em. Several times. Each time hitchless.

Grow on!

I know what you mean on poor website design. Herbies recently changed their website and I liked the previous one better. 420guy is just starting...and I really appreciate their low cost seeds. Not all of us can afford a ten or much more for a single seed....so I'm hoping their products are high quality enough for me...I have confidence they will be.

I've never personally encountered a cannabis seed seller that didn't accept cash. I didn't even realize that such oddities even existed, lol. That's how the whole thing began: Write down a list of the strains you want, figure out their total cost, and stick that amount into an envelope. Don't pick one that looks like some kind of Christmas/birthday/etc. card (IOW, choose something that doesn't scream, "Hey, thief, there's cash in me!!!"). Many of them will also accept an international money order. Credit/debit cards and other "electronic payment options" are a relatively recent development.

Seedsman... Seem to have some really nice - and popular - strains, and appear to be a great bunch of people (I've just been treated very well by them ;) ). But the website, IMHO, could have been designed better by a drunken twelve-year old. Who happens to be mildly mentally retarded. I don't know who built the thing, but he must get an erection every time someone mentions the term "JavaScript." Want to view ten strains, each in a separate web browser tab, so that you can quickly and easily switch back and forth among them, so that you can compare? Yeah, good luck with that, lMFAO, the individual strain links aren't parsed as simple https links - so CTRL-click won't open one into a new tab, and right-clicking on one doesn't work, either. So, you end up deciding you'll just make do with a "single-tab browsing experience," setting your particulars - e.g., Seedsman-branded autoflowering strains - in order to bring up a customized list. You select the first one, which switches you to that strain's webpage. You read about it - and take notes, I suppose, since it's f*cking going away when you page back to the list. Then you do that, page back to your list so that you can select the second strain on the list to rinse/lather/repeat... Except that, when you do, half the time the list has been reordered! That second strain might be the one that was originally the second on the list. Or it might be one that was #16 before. OR... It might be the one you just looked at. How is that even... I don't know, folks, but I just realized that I must be the biggest hypocrite on the planet. Because I'll happily go to work chemically altered - but I sure wish that people would QUIT FUCKING HIRING STONERS TO BUILD THEIR WEBSITES!!! If you feel that you must hire someone who'll consume drugs whilst building your website, get someone whose drug-of-choice is a white powder  . . . .

Yep, it is legal. Not necessarily the smartest way to do it though unless you know the person on the other end. None the less, legal. Certainly not listed in the things that are against postal regulations or Federal laws that I have seen.

Money Orders are a good option and I noticed that several have mentioned this already.

I very rarely use one of my credit cards. Helps to keep the credit rating very high.

Another option is to go in with someone trustworthy and do a combined larger order and have them use their credit card. Then pay them back with cash when the order arrives.

If you're speaking in regards to the United States, yes; you can even buy insurance for your cash. It's just for face value, though - so I wouldn't suggest you ship your rare coins, lol.

Or you could just walk into any convenience store on the planet (and just about every other store) and buy a prepaid debit card. This stuff isn't rocket science  .

Lots do. Yes it is Scary. It works though. I have paid most of my orders with cash. It used to be the only way.

When sending money for seeds. You should be able to write off that money before sending it. To much can happen. It never has for me but you just never know. Seed money needs to be throw away money.

Another thing to consider. How much money you are sending should also effect the type of shipping you use. Call it seed insurance. One recent order I know of was over $600. That person paid extra for special shipping so any order would be resent if something happened. No way to insure the money on its way there. If you are spending a lot. Add extra to insure you get the seeds once they get the money.
