In a constant desire to confuse myself I build more grow boxes and test different theories. Where I am this week is a SEALED box.
I have built a few refrigerator boxes for people and now I want to keep a couple for me to breed in. This oldhead buddy of mine was asking me why I change the air in my boxes so much and the only response I had was because I thought you had to. He was saying because I produce CO2 from my yeast gardens in the grow box and the plant uses the CO2 and releases O2 to feed the yeast why should I vent it? (Heat is not an issue the refrigerator keeps it around 72 degrees all the time.)
So here's the question...
If I can keep my CO2 numbers over 1000ppm how often do I need to change my air?
Currently I do a complete air change every 20-25 minutes, is that too often?
