Salt build up using ph down?

hi all, i need some advice please;

i'm growing in a re-circulating dwc system with a 75 litre back up res. the only thing i put into the res apart from the water of course is ph down at a rate of 15ml which brings my ph from 7.0 to 5.8.

the problem is this;

the water becomes a little cloudy at first then by the next day i can see a slight salt build up. the salt build up then clogs the filter which lets the water pass through it into the system. this happens literally every 2nd or 3rd day.

the brand of ph down i'm using is made by growth technology.

I run z7 water treatment in my DWC's and never see any kind of salt build up anymore. I run GH 3part and GH up and down. They are all salts.

Before z7 I would see build up. Now everything stays spotless.

thanks. i do actually use clearex in the res too which i forgot to mention but it doesn't seem to have helped

If you can get z7 where you live. You should give it a try. It made a big change for me with build up and many other things like root rot too.
