Morning sorry for the issues but agreed over watering.... I know that could be broad statement as over watering causes domino effects of leaf symptoms... But I would start there let them dry a day or two and see what happens.... I also notice the soil is very wet all the way to them stalks... For plants that young you want to water the edge to get to roots to search for water to help them build big strong root systems. Hope I could help and good luck.

Im already working on tje problem, some ideas also would be nice.Rust spots can have multiple causes tho thanks.
Looks like the start of a nutrient issue. Not enough of what the plant needs.

Personally, I would not be looking at over-watering or under-watering at this point. Those are small plants, some still in the seedling stage. That the problem is showing up on more than one plant already is a clue of where to look for the cause.

We need to know what the soil mix is in those little containers. Is it something that came in a bag? Is it a seedling mix? Or, is it a mix of something that came from several bags? Have you added any nutrients to the soil?

Back to the watering. The plants are in different size and types of containers. I see Styrofoam and "peat pots" and a small plastic nursery pot. The peat pots and the plastic pot will dry out at different rates from each other and from the Styrofoam cup. A pot or cup placed into a bigger pot of soil like that will dry out at a different rate than one that is not buried in soil.

None of this difference in container type and size is a problem as long as the grower keeps the different rates of water evaporation, etc in mind while watering.

plants at this age desperately need a strong wet/dry cycle, or in other words, they need to dry out all the way to the bottom of the container between waterings. Investigate the "lift the pot" method of determining when it is time to water... don't go by a set schedule. Second, tell us about your soil... is it actually soil, or some nutrient free fake soil, like coco or peat?

"...nutrient free fake soil...". That might be the best way to describe some of these blends already on the market.

Stick around bro. I’m a new member too. Was constantly harassed on another forum because I had plants that didn’t look like theirs. Like running into a mistake. I was afraid to post for help because of backlash. This place is a completely different atmosphere. It’s quite the fresh breath. And this place guides you in the correct direction.

Except when a new grower runs into big time problems when they are using a soil-less medium because they spent the previous 6 weeks thinking it was just a fancy traditional type of grow medium.

I have noticed that the more the group knows about the soil or soil-less mix someone is using the faster they can help out before a major problem starts.

I was referring to the same stuff. Different names.

But I agree. Soilless vs soil should always addressed
