Lifetime(40 years+) grower with outdoor and HID experience. Just started with a Discount 500W Red Spec board, and a couple of notes and observations. More water consumption with Led than 1000W HPS. Much, much cooler(I may grow in summer indoors!). More color which seems a lot like outdoor plants. First is Royal Cookies HPS, second is RC LED, and last is Mama Thai LED(Indica leaning pheno). Sativas may be more nute tolerant under LED.
