root rot

I cant seem to get rid of the root rot, it keeps coming back and i cleaned everything. I tried using hydroguard a week ago and now it looks like i have a deficiency, might be unrelated. Anyone had experience with root rot and using hydroguard with success. If i clone the plants that have root rot will the new clones get it too? Im willing to try anthting at this point. pH is high at 6.6 so im not sure if its a magnesium deficiency....My next step today is to change the water and double the dose of hydroguard. I'll also try washing the roots in a h202 solution. I feel like im just experimenting now with no real knowledge of what im doing harm or good.

I've never actually checked it, the room barely gets over 72° and they are under ho flouros. Would lowing the temperature help to get rid of an existing problem? I will get a thermometer today and check

62-68°F (17-20°C). Above 72°F (21°C) and dissolved oxygen (DO) dips too low. Below 60°F (16°C) and plants tend to slow their metabolism

High temps cause low Oxygen in turn causing root rot. not saying this is your problem but i would recommend finding out
