Root bound in 5 gallon bucket

I transplanted my og kush from 2 gallon to 5gallon I'm already roots coming from bottom will it be ok or should I transplant again

Welcome Stegz420 to 420 Magazine. Have seen pictures of a few people that can grow successfully in small pots and even in plastic cups. Would think that your 5 gallon pot should be sufficient to grow a OG Kush with huge buds by harvest time. Pictures are also helpful.

Like RG said, people have successfully grown decent plants in 5 gallon pot, I'm assuming your pot is plastic or ceramic?
Having a plant that's root bound, isn't necessarily the worst thing, but it can affect your final harvest.
Some pics would definitely be helpful!

Roots coming out the bottom doesn’t mean it’s rootbound, it’s just that roots chase water down to the bottom then a few escape…

when container is truly rootbound it knits up all the soil pretty much from bottom to top. If you gently scratch around up top I think you’ll find there’s still plenty of soil that’s not filled with roots

Also when it’s rootbound water just pools on top taking forever to drain downwards…

And, did you have a layer of fresh soil or grow medium in the bottom of the 5 gallon pot? Or, is the bottom of the root mass from the 2 gallon pot sitting directly on the bottom of the 5 gallon?
