problem was brown alge of some sort,, kinda figured that out , had to light proof my tubs, but then got root rot ugh so i cleaned everything with a 5% bleach mix cut all the root rot off rinced the shit out of them changed my clay pellets washed net pods cleaned air stones tubes etc..(what a pain in the ass by the way. decided to get a ro system because i figured my tap water might be the proplem, my tap water is about 7 ph amd 169- 180 ppm . o ya im using a dwc set up with a drip.. using dutch master nutes. well after 5 days using ro water still had a brown ring around my tub , but not half as bad as tap water, plants look great lots of new white roots. but there is some discoloration in my leaves, so i did alil more reaserch on ro water and decided to mix half tap and half ro. hopefully this works out the best. now my starting water half tap and ro is about 6.2 ph and 112 ppm. i figure the is some thing in tap water my plants need? if im totally off base please let me know
