Ripe? or Overdone

I'm new to this "posting" stuff so please bear with me. These photos are of a Blue Dream; set outdoors in 1 cu. ft bags in early May at about 18" tall. They won't mature outdoors here so I brought them inside under a 1000w Halide and put them in 10g cloth pots at the end of August. I'm not sure when they started flowering exactly, but it was probably around the first of Aug. I like an upbeat energetic effect so don't want them to overmature. I'm watching the trichomes, but the only ambering seems to be on the older "bud leaves", even though the plants look mature to me. I've read that 10 weeks is about right, but.....
I cut the main colas 4 days ago 'cause I couldn't stand it any longer as they looked past their prime.. They looked more leafy than I like and the tip tops produced small "stacks" of fresh pistils. Most of the resin heads were opaque, though there was little ambering.
It's probably academic at this point, but what do you experts say. Done or overdone?
I posted photos in "members gallery" as I couldn't figure how to attach them directly. ?
Thanks in advance for any help. ddubyuh
