Rhizotonic

im not sure dude. honestly, dude at the hydro store says it works wonders (it smells like shit) so im guessing there is some beneficial bacteria as well as some root boosters. I've tried it, and the application rate is extremely high, and it recommends you run with just water. so basically...

it wnats you to...

run with pure water so your plants hungry and then you feed it. kind of a lot of work.

i haven't had too much succes with it. if you have problems with your roots, in my opnion, just run hygrozyme, some superthrive and lower your ppms. that should work out. nothing hurts roots more than a high ppm solution

what would be considered high ppm? runnin GH nutes with foxfarm ocean forest soil, last feeding was about 1030 ppm.....

oh god. 1030 with soil? dude im in week 4 with my plants (DWC and they are about 3 1/2 feet tall) and i run 1050-1100 ppm. Goodness, a little high no? I think with soil you should go no higher than 800 ppm, but i dont know. if your plants aren't burning, then i supose its fine? check it out tho. if they burn, and show deficiency, a lot of times, its not cuz your not giving enough. MOST of the time, you are giving too much.

Check this out.

Recently I noticed my leaves on the bottom were yellowing, so i was thinking, okay, nitrogen deficiency, so I should maybe add nutes? wrong. I did that, and it got worse. They just yellowed more. Usually...in my experience (esp with hydro) if you lower ppm by about 100 or so and watch it, it shuold get better. Even if it seems like your plant is hungry, check it out. Usually, with me, I get improvements when I lower my concentration. A flush is usually THE BEST remedy. Don't add individual shit, throwing off the ratio will fuck you over. So just lower concentration but make sure at all times you mix at he proper ratios the manufacturer tels you to. Or else your plant can't access some other nutrients. You need all 17 in the correct ratio for your plant to thrive.
