Today I'm doing my rez change and thought I would try something new. Being this is only my second grow and I never flushed my girls until the end of harvest. I heard that is something that needs to be done during the plants veg and flowering cycle. So what I decided to do is, on every rez change i will drain out the old water with the nutes in it and add plain ph water with root enhancer in it. I'll let her sit in that for 4 to 6 hrs before I start to drain the rez and fill it back up with the regular feeding.
It's said that the plants loves that few hrs of fresh water before they go back to their regular feeding schedule. After the few hrs of fresh water, I'll add my nutes which is 3 part flora series, cal-mag, flora and diamond nectar. After that, when she drinks a gal or so, I will add flora nectar, roots organic and maybe some more diamond nectar. I'll keep doing that until my next rezoning change.
