Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams retired just before the start of training camp. "Williams said he didn't want to run up the middle and take all those hits," says reader Andrew Dosa. "Now we learn it was a smoke screen to hide the fact that he just failed a drug test for smoking marijuana. So I guess taking a hit is still in his future."
"After testing positive for marijuana use three times," says reader David Jonas, "Ricky Williams should be placed on the physically unable to reform list."
Says reader Jim Dwyer, "We can say that at least he's going out not with a whimper but with a bong."
