Results of last nights San Diego ASA meeting

It seems we were on course trying to find out what was/is going on in our community.

----
The raids (as reported earlier), all the cases are linked to a local patient
"Jessica Owen". The few people I have confirmed (at least 4) were all entrapped
by a long-haired guy using the name Jaime Conlon (the undercover cop) who met
the people at a house in Navy housing on Pico St in the Pt. Loma area. They
(cops) say the whole set up is caught on tape. Therefore, hopefully the victims
(these local mobile dispensaries) will be able to defend themselves in court.

The bottom line seems to be unless you are connected to these people or location
- we think you're ok. There does not appear to be a wide spread attack on the
whole medical cannabis community, since most where not busted including the 3 or
4 who have physical locations.

-----

Then right before the meeting we got word of Bonnie M. Dumanis, District Attorney's press conference announcing the sting, called Operation Endless Summer.

Obviously, this is a huge misuse of resources for a government crying poverty, but it shows the depth of their intent. The group's feeling about law enforcements actions is that they were wrong and deserves a loud strong response from our community.

Therefore, we decided we will demonstrate together on Feb. 17, by going to speak at the County Board of Supervisors, demand respect from District Attorney Bonnie M. Dumanis at her office, and present a clear legal path for patients' safe access rights to the San Diego City Council.

The exact plan for 2/17 will be announced to to upcoming days.

Please respond if you can have a more active role and/or have suggestions for the days activities.

Thanks
Dion
