High guys!! need a confirmation of my theory:
I' really don't know how many cycles I did but, it happened twice so far...

while I'm growing, everything is fine, nice smell, gorgeous buds, very sticky resin...
As soon as I cut, within 2-3 days, everything was lost. It would get you high and everything but,
all the aroma and resin were gone... it 'd smell like dry grass, just like when you mow the garden...
What did I do wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

all I can think off, is the high temperature... that's the only "common denominator" I can think off
those 3 times that it happened to me... (was july both times)

Anyone can confirm?

The "hay-like" or "grassy" smell is completely normal during the drying processes. The important thing is to not dry too fast, or the smell will become permanent.

roorman is correct. Slow dry and a nice cure will make them smoke smooth and smell and taste great. at least it does for my grows anyway.

ah, ok... so, high temperature, led to quicker drying process, which led to grass smelling bud…
what do you guys do in summer time? I mean, I got ac and everything but still…

the good thing is that it doesn’t have anything to do with the hydroponic set up…

Set up the drying gig in a closet...Have a dehumidifer in there with a fan circulating air. Temps should be 70-75 for an optimal slow dry.
