Justice minister of Canada Irwin Cotler has ordered the surrender of Renee Boje to the Canadian authorities to be extradited to the US for her alleged involvement in a medical marijuana project in Bel-air California.
Renee is married to high profile Cannabis activist Chris Bennett and they have a small three year old boy named Shiva. She faces 10 years to life for bieng hired to illustrate a book, on how to grow Medical Marijuana. It's unlikely that Renee will serve the minimum of 10 years if she is surrendered, because she is considered a fugitive.
Yesterday at 8:30 am Renee Boje turned herself into the Canadian Authorities, not knowing if she'd ever see her family agian, luckily she was granted bail August 30th.
