Relaxed's 2014 Outdoor Medical Grow

Hi Lester! :volcano-smiley: its so good to see your beautiful plants again, your pine spice reveg KC-45 is really coming along nicely, you definitely dialed that strain in after growing so many KC's. sorry that I've not been keeping up as well as I have in the past.

A few pages back those Zilla nug pics floored me hahaha... so beautiful. No one takes jar pics like you lol, you just get your buds to shine and sparkle in such a pretty way. (or maybe I'm giving the photographer Lester credit for grower Lester's brilliant work ;) )

and I'm really excited to see the generations of the future filling in your veg room :) seeing you work your magic on new strains is always fun.

Be well/stay well my friend. :hugs: :ciao: :cheertwo:

Hi Sister SoilGirl! I loved reading your comment :circle-of-love: Thanks for the grin :) That KC-45 is just such a good growing plant. There is just something so ancient about it. There is some magic about it, seeing this plant grow outdoors in the "wild" freely. You see those petite sativa leaves, and the terpenes are unlike most "modern" strains. Typically, you get "Lemon Spice" with different variations. Sister Zilla was the only pheno out of the 6 to have a dominant pine attribute, which is another reason I believe the bugs steer clear of this one. I gotta say I really got my bang for my buck. :) :cheertwo:

OK if I may, I'd like to clarify my plan for this vegging stuff, I want to move on and get the Critical, BB x SM, and Zilla clone into flower (outside of course!), and free some more space for the new 2nd generation Zilla clones and the Swiss Cheese. That way I can start growing the new strains (Jack Herer, Aurora Ultra, Pure Kush, and Grape Ape).

Thank you for your support, my friend, it is truly appreciated :Namaste: :volcano-smiley: Hope your enjoying that EQ! :volcano-smiley: :)

Looking good my friend. So nice to see the sunshine still over a pot patch somewhere. Keepem Green

Aloha brother! :ciao: Great to have you cruise through for a peek. :Namaste: :circle-of-love:

Hi Lester :volcano-smiley:

Sister zilla is looking very very nice. I have a couple questions on sister Zilla, if you don't mind.

-Would you say it has considerably less leafs than the first time you had her flowering?
-What other difference in the overall structure do you see?
-Have you tried to cross a reflower pheno to see whats the phenotype like on the siblings?

Im trying to reveg my 4 plants, 2 already died, they other 2 seem to be trying to reveg.

:smokin2::smokin2:

I'll be keeping an eye on your Aurora Ultra.

Right on :high-five: Should be starting those new strains in the very near future :yummy: Hoping to get a nice Spring crop in next year :)

Hi there danish :ciao:

Sister Zilla does seem a little bit less leafy in the buds than her first flowering event.

Structurally, the reveg allowed all the shoots that didn't have a chance in the first flowering event to take hold and grow to max capacity. Since there was a a lot of little popcorn sites in the middle, they all got a chance to flourish (through the reveg) and put out larger colas where there once was tiny popcorn buds. So it's much more symmetrical. Over all just seems like a better batch of herbs.

I haven't tried to cross a reveg, in fact, I have not done any kind of breeding in a long while. I've just been staying away from males and aiming to grow those seedless fruits :yummy: But, it wouldn't matter, if you crossed it, regardless, you would get those phenotypic traits passed onto the next generation (e.g., pine spice dominance).

Hope that answers some of your questions :Namaste:

Thanks for the kind words, good luck with your reveggers, and if you have any more questions feel free to shout! :ciao: :volcano-smiley:

you know your plants are doing well when the sun shines off the leaves like they've been waxed lol...

So beautiful Lester! Great supercrop. And haha your critical reminds me of my old original Lucy/Mama plants. It looks great! Hope she yields as well as she bushes out! And of course I don't mind you laying out the veg plan replying to me, it's your (badass) thread! :laughtwo:

I hope you've had another fine day today my friend! :circle-of-love::hippy:

Thanks Lester.

I hope I can get at least one to reveg, that would be a real treat.

You're welcome, good luck! :Namaste: :)

Aloha Good Morning SoilGirl. :circle-of-love: So I decided to put the Critical and KC-45 Zilla Clone out into flower outside, I figured - to hell with it. They were just taking up too much space in the veg area, and I decided to make more space for the Blueberry and Swiss Cheese. I also figured that Sister Zilla should be ready to start harvesting certain flowers by the beginning of December, and so, if I tossed plants out now the earliest I'd be harvesting after that would be ~ February 1st. So, we'll see what happens. I am sure they will flower, but will they get enough direct Sun to make the buds worth while? I don't know. On top of that we're looking at a little rain event this weekend, but this week is 80 degrees pure Sun and very warm for my girls. :cheertwo:
