hi

I was wondering if red algae is good for the plants. I noticed calcium deficiency on few plants and red algae has 30% calcium. Its suppose to make plants stronger, more disease resistant ect. ect.

I remember reading something about algae being good for the plants. Is that perhaps red algae ?

Thought i`d rather ask first ;)

i find very little on the web about using it as fertilizer. Tho i came across some article saying it was used alot bout 50 years back as fertilizer but not as much available these days.

Says on the bag its used for nursing leaves and roots. It prevents fungal, viral, diseases and damage made from pests. It strengthens the plants and activates their own defense mechanisms. It promotes development of roots and plant metabolism. Contains 35% calcium, 3% magnesium, vitamins ..... bound in organic form (got that part from sticker on the box).

It can be mixed with water and than sprayed or just dusting it on the plant. (best results in sunny weather)

still searching the web for more info :)
