Really Quick E & F media question

Hey guys,

Been doing some research and am very torn on what media I should use.
Currently I am doing Drain to Waste in coco and have been enjoying it. I have also done DWC in hydroton and that went smooth as well.

With my new setup in the works I am looking for any grower input.
In an ebb and flow system, what would be a more superior grow medium, coco coir or hydroton?

I am doing a 6 site system with a custom ebb and flow controller.
Kind if like the Oxygen Pot system

Have never used coco coir but I use the hydroton all the time because I like the way it allows air to reach the root system and the fact that I can rinse it and use it over.

On my 6 plant medical grow, I use a similar system. I gow in expanded clay. The large 6 pot system has a 50 gallon temp controlled reservoir (I use a 1/10th hp chiller). This keeps the root zone a cool 68 deg. My control bucket has 5 magnetic switches and a timer control box. Each of the 6 buckets has an oxygen stone, and there is always around a gallon in each bucket.
Depending on strain, I flood every 2.5 to 3 hrs.
Here's a short video. There are two 50 gallon reservoirs
. One has nutes, the other is 25 ppm RO water. It also has a float valve yo keep it topped off.
This system has NEVER failed me, and is automated to the point it pretty much runs on it's own.
