Ready to harvest?

Started this bad boy from seed beginning of April. Wondering if it’s ready to harvest?

Do you have a jewelers loupe? It really helps when determining whether your plant is ready for harvest. And, in my humble opinion, it makes a difference when you harvest based on a few factors.

1. Are you hoping for couch lock or a more subtle high? The more amber in those trichomes (esp. with indicas), the stronger the high. At least this has been my experience. I suspect there are times where this isn’t true. And how well the grow has gone.
2. If you’ve got a sativa, all creamy/cloudy looking trichomes and less amber is going to give you a better effect.

Generally, and I mean generally because it seems like every plant has a mind of its own, once you see those trichomes start to turn cloudy, you’re really in the home stretch and it could be a week or two for a sativa and 2-3 for a indica.

Buy a loupe. They’re cheap and a very worthwhile expense. No more guessing on what those trichomes are doing.

Some people say that the little hairs (whatever they’re called...my brain has lost the word!) all turn brown and you’re done but I’ve had to take my plants beyond that time to get enough amber. I mostly grow Sativa, though, as we prefer the type of high sativa usually provides.

I'm wondering about the 3rd pic. The top of that bud looks like it has a snow cap as I call them from light bleaching. Not sure as it's not a great angle to know for sure. But if it is you need to raise your light some. Albino buds are useless. The THC has degraded & it wont get you high & you're taking a chance on getting hermie's from light stress if this happens. Not saying this is definitely happening here. But just in case I am seeing a snow cap I figured I'd throw it out there.
