Ready to cut? 1st time Harvesting Trichome pics

So I have these two ladies who are in week 11 or 12 into flowering. i been flushing for the past 2 weeks ‘ they have been 48 hrs in darkness. I’ve cut some to take some pics of the trichomes please leave any comments or advice I’d highly appreciate it!

I think you did the right thing sir ! But I would of waited longer till harvest and let those baby's get a little bit more milky , I read to try to go for 15 percent amber but I think you will be alright good job and Hell yeah brother!!!!!! Here's when I chopped my gelato og

They are still pretty clear. There's really no need to flush. I know some do it but I think they are stuck on the Old Skool Methods when Nutes were designed differently & had a higher salt build up. I feed all the way till 3 days before harvest. I don't flush. I just let it dry out 3 days & chop her down.
I'd start feeding her again for another week or 2 with some PK Boosters & Terpine Boosters. Let them get more cloudy & Amber. I go between 50% - 75% Amber .... But I prefer a Couch Lock effect. Less Amber ... Less Couch Lock to put it simply.

If it's too clear you could get head aches from it. 25% Amber is my minimum for a good high yet able to function.
75% as a Sleep Aid.

thank you for the reply fam! Im thinking of putting them back to 12/12 cycle for another week or two. Do you think since I left them +48hrs in darkeness and flip them back to12/12 they’ll get stressed?

You know you can harvest some of the plant & then put the rest in to finish up? I do it & I know a few others who do it too.

I doubt it. They take a lot for that. I tried hard to Hermie a plant to get seeds. Had to Super Crop about 6 Branches at once to make it happen. You can kick them, hit them, bite them or what ever. They take a lickin & keep on tickin.

Personally I prefer letting plants run until somewhere around 30% amber, never mind counting the weeks just watch the trichomes.

Outstanding looking bud! Altho I note it is mostly a clear/cloudy mix and pistils indicating it was likely cut earlier than later. I am a fan of some amber, but in saying I am alway happy to experiment different harvest timings and learn something from the 'experiments' of others!
