So ive recently purchased a 4x8 table.
I see alot of people using ROCKWOOL or COCO or HYDROTON in pots.
I understand the basics and what everything takes.
What im getting hung up on is whats the best setup for healthiest roots and best growth.
Do you lay coco matts on the flood table and set pots on there so the roots grow intonthe coco matt? (And if so what do you do with the next grow. Reuse coco matts? Throw them out? Use an enzyme like floracleen to break down the old roots before next grow?)
Do you use that panda wrap (white and black poly) to put a humidity barrier between the atmosphere and roots on the table?) Or will that keep the roots from getting oxygen? Or do you rely on the air stones in the resevoir to get your oxygen to the roots when the table floods?
With the coco matts do you flood 2 times in 12 hours for 15 minutes each? Will that be too much and create root rot?
Just trying to get a handle on it before i get going.
Bless
