Question on PH levels...

What is the correct PH level to maintian? I have heard 6.5 - 6.8 but I would appreciate some expert advice.

for hydro 5.6-6.6....Soil 6.0-7.0.

Soil - 6.5-7.0
hydro - 5.5-6.5 with 5.8-6.0 ideal
