Question in reference to harvesting

Is it an auto? I’m growing a sundae driver auto right now myself that started flower nov 22, sprouted Oct 28, so four weeks into flower right now. My plan is to harvest in the middle of January but I’m keeping an eye on it in case it matures sooner. You might be in the same boat as me, mid January. Pictures would be great. I’d love to see how yours compares to mine.
Here is a couple of mine.

Happy holidays to everyone, new to the forum but not to the movement. I have a question in reference to harvesting . My sundae driver strain is in its 4th week of flowering stage and the pistols are turning orange. How many more weeks should I wait to harvest?
Welcome to 420Magazine my friend. :welcome:
From the time pistils appear it can take up to 8 weeks before they finish.
I wait until there isn't anymore white pistils before I start checking trics.
Do you have any pics?

Stay safe

She is not auto, she’s photoperiod. I’m currently growing both sundae driver and ice.

That’s a frosty critter. How’s the fragrance? Mine was like a tootsie roll a couple weeks ago but it doesn’t smell like that anymore. I can’t identify it now but it’s nice.

I’d make sure to have a loupe on hand so you can check daily and know what the trichomes are looking like. You can also try to find info about flowering time on the website of the place you got the seeds. If you got it as a clone then you may be able to ask the person you got it from for an estimate.

So if you bought it from a breeder you would go kind of based off of what they're saying, but usually it takes around 8 to 10 weeks for an auto to fully finish, but your best friend can be your your jeweler to see what the trichomes are producing and if they are what you want in the type of high you're after

The first pic is the sundae driver the second one is the ice strain. The sundae fragrance is a mixture of tootsie roll and skunk, the ice smells like skunk. I’m fascinated with the plant and love to watch it grow.

You are in good company then. I think most of us love growing here although I’m sure there are some who would rather the buds just appear than have to grow it. It is incredible to see your plant go through so many changes and at the end you get weed out of it.

I wish mine had stayed tootsie roll but it’s morphed into something else. Very nice smell but I just can’t name it. I’m horrible at it when it gets too complex.

Welcome to the party @Hmiller6511!

Those are nice looking plants, but yeah, get yourself a comfortable seat 'cause they've got a ways to go!

Enjoy the show as they mature into, hopefully, some rock-hard buds! :Rasta:

You were asking what kind of light I’m using, I’m using an old school grow light. Nothing fancy or super expensive. I am open to some suggestions on better grow lights and I always grow inside but I don’t use a tent or enclosure
