Question about trichomes?

So I have a couple plants that are near or at the end. Most trichomes are cloudy but very few if any Amber/dark colored trichomes ? Do all plants eventually darken up, or are some just not predisposed to do that?
Also I have two other plants that are the same strain, planted at the same time. Both have cloudy trichomes, but one has a good amount of amber/ burnt orange colored "hairs" while the other doesn't have a single one both the exact same age? Thanks all.

The amber means that it will have a sedative type of affect when you smoke it. Cloudy is when they are at the highest lev2l that they will be before they start to go to amber they say the more cloudy it is it is more of a head high not a body high if that makes since but you really just have to pick it at different stages to see how you like it

I've been really looking at them with a loupe today and one looks to have a few more amber trichomes than it did before. And the leaves are really starting to look bad, basically she looks like she's at the end. So I think I'll cut her. Only way to learn is to do it and see what happens.
