Pruning

Hellloooo. So today I decided to prune my plants, it had never been done to date yet lol. These pictures are before I pruned them.

Does it seem like I did this correct? I basically got rid of a lot of lower bud sites that were small and not really getting much sunlight.
 
Why do that outside?
I do that with my inside garden, but that's because the light can't penetrate that far. But, The Sun can. There is as much light hitting at a foot offa the ground as there is six feet offa the ground outside.
I've seen some fat buds in that bottom third.
Why?

All the plants have a side that never gets sun. Almost everything took off the bottom was so spindly and small. I didnt take off any good future bud sites

Sure.
Also, I can see removing those dinner plate sized fan leaves.
She doesn't need them any more and they provide a lot of shade to the inside of the plant.

She's happy and beautiful.
Keep doing whatcha doing.
