Pruning

Does anyone recommend "pruning" one's plants? I take the larger and yellowing/miss colored leaves off the plants. I also top the plants when they are about 15 inches tall,

There are differing opinions on that very subject. I take out all the yellow/yellowing leaves. I don't so much take the "big" leaves just because the are "big"... they serve a major function in photosynthesis and cooling of the plant. They also store much needed sugars for the plant when needed, especially in flower.

The topping I do is plant dependent... some need it and some don't... most do though in my NSHO!
