Pruning question

A little background
She's a Blue Diesel auto. From seed sprout to current day is 5 weeks. Feeding her GH Trio, C/Mag, Hydroguard, Silica Blast, and periodic sprays of Foop.
She's getting bushy. I've been pruning every other day or so, nothing major. Just enough to open up some areas, and cutting some of the undergrowth, etc.
I haven't grown an Auto til now, so should I get a bit more aggressive with trimming because the flower stage is on the verge of knocking at my door?

Hey Vas, how's you
I wouldn't chop fan leaves until you got buds they're shading [week 5-7ish]
I'd take off all of the stuff below the canopy tho

Looking good ! A tiny bit of canoeing...

There are two camps on this.

One says only minor trimming of fan leaves, they are the plants solar panels.

The other says take'em off ;)

Not sure if one method or the other has been proven to work better ?

Cheers
Thanks for the info. So what causes canoeing?

she looks healthy, I trim mine about every 10 days during the vegetative stage. Since the plant will send energy to repair the cut/wound. the only thing that I would recommend is to start shaping it. Pick strong branches to start your colas on. Again this is my method and have been doing it this way since 1970 :) Also I would recommend feeding them after manicuring. They can get nitrogen deficient real quick. good job and stay happy and safe!

Since the plant will send energy to repair the cut/wound. the only thing that I would recommend is to start shaping it. you are limited in space so its best to have 25 BIG flowers than 200 little ones and a bag of leaves. Pick strong branches to start your colas on. You are telling it where to grow flowers. Again this is my method and have been doing it this way since 1970 :) Also I would recommend feeding them after manicuring. They can get nitrogen deficient real quick. I took these just now to show what telling them how to grow looks like. pictured below is l-R is a Banjo,Cocoa Pebbles,Mimosa,Highway Breath. good job and stay happy and safe!
