Processing BHO

So I turned out some BHO the other day for the first time. After the warm water bath and purging I ended up with a nice golden brown oil. However I wanted to whip into a butter type texture. Watched all the videos I can find, followed the same proceedures, warmed and whipped for 30 minutes but the consistancy never changed. I am totally clueless when it comes to this stuff does the oil form work the best for handling and medicating or should I try again to convert?

I would stick with the shatter consistency. I find it to be the most pure and it also maintains potency the longest.

Also some strains just won't budder no matter how much you whip. Others strains just auto-budder no matter what.

If you do go the whipping route, be sure to fully purge before whipping or else you will trap tane in it.
