ppm??

just got a new tds meter and dont no anything about the ppm....im growing dro in DWC...and i just took a reading the the ppm is 1800....dont know what it should be, as a matter fact dont know anything bout ppm. any advice would be great. Does anyone have a chart that shows an ideal ppm during certain stages? thanks

That does seem kinda high unless epsom salts were added. I prefer 12 to 1400 but also had good rsults with as low as 900 in flower. Did you calibrate using a calibration solution? Test the ppm before adding nutes? What stage are you in?

tds meter doesnt require calibration....says the company......didnt chk ppm before nutes were added cause i just got the meter the other day and im in
2nd week of flowering. think my water is probably the main problem fixin to add new filtration system.
