Fremonter faces marijuana charges

Just before midnight Wednesday police were called to the 400 block of West Ninth Street on a report of minors in possession.
Fremont Police Department Deputy Chief Steve Tellatin said that as officers were approaching the house, a bag of marijuana was thrown out of a window. The bag hit police Sgt. Shane Wimer's police hat with marijuana sprinkling off the brim.
Walter M. Kent, 20, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, information on a police report stated. Tyler D. Johnson, 19, was cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
