Post-traumatic Seizure Disorder by Anonymous
My story is quick and simple. I have sustained various head injuries throughout my life. Due to these I have begun to have grand mal seizures. I had one last summer for the first time. Since then I have read in a Time magazine article that marijuana is a possible anti-seizure medication. My drugs at the time had many unwanted side effects, including aggression and childish actions (not thinking clearly). I quit taking my medication and started smoking marijuana. Meanwhile I quit smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. Thursday evening I got arrested for possession of marijuana and quit smoking it. 12:00 am Saturday morning I had the second seizure of my life. During the day on Saturday I had my 3rd and 4rth seizures. I believe smoking marijuana helps keep me from having seizures.
